In these troublesome times there is a lot of concern and speculation about Bible prophecy. Are we really living in the last days and is there an apocalypse coming? There are many TV evangelists expounding on prophecy, books being written, movies, and specials on TV that make us worry about a coming tribulation. This is a little book of 10 studies on Bible prophecy that can be used by an individual or a group for a survey of Old and New Testament prophecies about Jesus. The author, Lowell Stultz, uses only two sources for these studies, the Bible and history. He states in the introduction that he has the following five goals: 1.To reveal more about Jesus the Christ, who He really is, His kingdom, and what His second coming will be like 2.To ?rightly divide? the Word of God that it might speak for itself on prophecy 3.To combat the many false teachings prevalent today about prophecy 4.To show how Biblical prophecy and history fit together 5.To provide a simple guide for a study of prophecy that can be used in Bible classes, small groups, or any series of study on prophecy led by a pastor or teacher For such a difficult subject this book is easy to read and it considers all the popular interpretations in a sane and unsensationalistic approach. Here are some comments of early readers of this new prophecy study book. After reading through this book on prophecy I found it to be a very clear-cut view of the truths found in the Scriptures. In this time that we live in, with all the varying and false teaching that are prevalent in churches today, it is good to see a book that shows the prophecies in the context in which they were written. Pastor Jim Giffin, St. Elmo Il. Excellent work! I went thru the book and I thought it was the best book on Revelation I have read, period. I like how he added charts and went thru Revelation a few chapters at a time, with references back to new and old Testament scripture. I will use it as a source of reference from now on. Ken Walton, Tampa, Florida If you want to study the Book of Revelation, you need to take a good look at many of the Old Testament Prophets. Because, much of the Book of Revelation is written in code and much of that code is found among the prophets. In his research, Rev Stultz does an excellent job of introducing us to the message of the Prophets. For someone wanting a fresh look at the prophecy of the Prophets and the end-times as seen in the Book of Revelation, they will want to study this book. Pastor Gary Ausbun, Elkhart, IN About the Author Rev. Lowell Stultz has been a pastor in the Church of God in Virginia for the last 8 years. He is a graduate of Anderson University and Bowling Green State University.
